Footpool

  • A total of 16 balls are used, which are 7 spots, 7 stripes, one black ball and one white cue ball.
  • All balls are size 4.
  • A player can only directly strike the white cue ball.
  • One player, or team is assigned to pocket all the stripes, while the other plays the spots.
  • A player is allowed to pocket the black ball only after all their seven spots/stripes have been pocketed.
  • Rules like, pocketing the black ball out of turn, pocketing the cue ball, or balls flying out of the table, are similar to that of pool and a free shot is awarded to the other player.
  • The white cue ball is placed in the ā€˜Dā€™ on the line.
  • The black ball is placed on the black spot in the middle of the triangle with the other balls around it.
